Bird Walk at Crown Point State Historic Site

Location: Meet at the visitor parking lot at Crown Point Historic Site.

Bring: Binoculars, snacks, water, and dress for the weather.

To Register: email Brian McAllister at birder64@yahoo.com

Our last NNYA field trip to Crown Point gave us 52 species including numerous waterfowl species, shorebirds and raptors, and lots of southbound migrant songbirds! Enjoy a fun morning of birding at one of our premier hotspots in the Champlain Valley. Pack a lunch and after our walk we will discuss our observations while picnicking on the shore of Lake Champlain. Plan for approximately three hours of gentle walking along grassy and gravel walkways.
